My Life in the Service

The things I liked most -
Going to San Diego, I always wanted to go there.

The things I liked the least -
Getting up at 0400.

I liked to pass the time by -
No such thing - the Marine Corps kept you too busy.

The things I missed the most were -
My family.

The contents of my favorite care package was -
Getting my high school yearbook. I found out a guy in my outfit was dating the same girl I was.

My proudest moment -
Learning to be a disciplined person.

The first thing I did when I was discharged -
Bought a 1933 Chevy

The USMC was a good way to learn discipline. It shaped up a lot of wise guys.
