My Life in the Service

The things I liked most -
Military manuevers and field operations.

Going to the NCO club with friends.

The things I missed the most were -

The contents of my favorite care package was -
My mother and aunt would send me summer sausage from Wisconsin, chocolate chip cookies, and the Milwaukee Journal - Green Sheets.

My proudest moment -
Marine Corps Basic Training and being promoted to Command Sergeant Major (Army Reserve)

The first thing I did when I was discharged -
I was discharged from the United States Marine Corps on Friday and I started on Monday at Harley Davidson at their Juneau Street Plant.

Vietnam 68-69 with the 3rd Marine Division 12th Marines.

Active member of Chapter 1 Vietnam Veterans.

I served over 35 years in numerous positions in the armed forces. Each one was more challenging than the last but they were all equally rewarding.
